3341782 - SYSAM install fails with error "The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet" - SAP PD

Symptom

  • After completing the new SYSAM install and generating a fresh new valid licenses files the SYSAM sever process fails to start.
  • Error raised is: The license server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet  the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the port or hostname in the license file has been changed.
