• Header background color not respected in Global Search bar
• Incorrect color displayed when Search Bar is not selected 
• Only when clicking in the Search Bar, the correct color is displayed
• Global search background color is the same as the header background

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Log into the SuccessFactors Home Page
2. When not clicking in the Global Search Bar, it appears in the wrong color appears
3. When clicking, the correct color appears as set in the Theme Manager

Global Search bar will obey the color picked in the “Solid Color” in the Theme Manager, even if you choose the “Header Background” or "Upload an Image" option as default.

The solution would be to change the Global Search Bar color:

1. Go to “Theme Manager”
2. Under “Header Background”, select "Solid Color"
3. Choose the Global Search bar color from there
4. click "save"

Note: When selecting the color in "solid color" it will be applied for both header background and global search.

When customer wants it to be different, there is a workaround available: Upload background image for the header with the desired color, so the setting above will be applied only for the global search.
