Project's time and expense assignment is stuck in error.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Time and Expenses view.
3. Search for ABC-n (ABC-n is the Project's task).
4. You can see that the entry has 'Reassignment Status: Finished with Error'.
5. Click in the red symbol of the error.
6. You can see that the error message is: 'Work Description is mandatory for Project Task ABC-m' (ABC-m is another Project's task).

And also:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Delayed Business Object Processing view.
3. Show: All delayed business object processing.
4. Search for XYZ (XYZ is the delayed business object).
5. Click in Restart button. 
6. Click in Application Log button.
7. You can see that: 'Overall Status: Errors Occurred'.
8. The error is: 'Work Description is mandatory for ABC-m'.

The time recording cannot be reassigned because the project task is not configured to require a work description. Therefore, the system does not expect a mandatory work description entry for this task, which is preventing the reassignment process.

You can change the task's Work Description as not mandatory by following the steps below:

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Projects view.
3. Search for project ABC.
4. Click in Edit button.
5. Navigate to Project Plan tab and Gantt chart subtab.
6. Select task ABC-m.
7. You can see that 'Work description: Work Description Required'.
8. Change it to: 'No Work Description Required'.

And then you can restart the Delayed Business Object performing the steps below:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Delayed Business Object Processing view.
3. Show: All delayed business object processing.
4. Search for XYZ.
5. Click in Restart button. 

Then the Reassignment Status of the project expense should be finished.
