Symptom

The following error is shown in a page filter after changing the variable filter in SAP Analytics Cloud:

Filter unavailable

An unknown error has occurred

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.2.21 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon SAC.
  2. Browser to a folder and open the story.
  3. The page filter could be shown correctly.
  4. Select a variable filter, and change the variable filter to another member.
  5. A warning mark in the page filter could be seen.
  6. Move the mouse to the warning mark and will see the following error:
    Filter unavailable
    An unknown error has occurred

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation of development team.
