3342726 - Error:"GSS-API(maj): An invalid name was supplied" when using the third-party Microsoft SSO-Solution at SAP's BC-SNC interface

Symptom

You have setup the SSO using the third-party Microsoft SSO-Solution at SAP's BC-SNC interface as per the note:2115486.

The environment variable of SNC library are set as below on user's PC clients:

SNC_LIB=C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\<third-party SNC library>
SNC_LIB_64=C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SNCEncryption\x64\sapsncencryption.dll 

The following error occurs after new version SAPGUI installed on user PC clients:

'GSS-API(maj): An invalid name was supplied
Import of a name failed
