3343172 - ERR_ACCESS_DENIED error occurs when agent is down or IBP datastore connection is broken - SAP Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services

Symptom

  • When agent is down, find following errors in DSOnPremiseAgent log file:
    • SEVERE: Cloud Server error occurred, fetch request thread going to wait for  120000msec
    • SEVERE: ping received Error Code : 403
    • SEVERE: ping received Error: Forbidden, response content:<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
      ...
      </head><body id=ERR_ACCESS_DENIED>
      <div id="titles">
      <h1>ERROR</h1>
      <h2>The requested URL could not be retrieved</h2>
      ...
      <p>The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: <a href="cloud server URL">cloud server URL</a></p>
      ...
      <p>Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.</p>

  • When testing connection for IBP Websocket RFC datastore, failed with error:
    • Cannot connect to SAP Application datastore<> using host<IBP URL>, client<xx>, user<xx>, and system number<01:CRFC error: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE- Proxy Error: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
    • X-Squid-Error: ERR_ACCESS_DENIED 0
    • Connection: close
