3343249 - "The data action xxx couldn't run on version yyy. The underlying model may have changed since you triggered it." in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

The following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC) when you run a cross-model copy data action:

• The data action xxx couldn't run on version yyy. The underlying model may have changed since you triggered it.

The default model of this data action has been changed recently.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023.Q2

1. Run a cross-model copy data action

Your data action uses a feature that actually is not supported: Having an account dimension that is not mapped to another account dimension (for example, you use a default member for the target account dimension).

We miss to implement a respective validation during the implementation of the model change feature in 2023.QRC2 (you now can change the default model of a data action).

What you need to do is to map your source account dimension to your target account dimension. In a further copy step you also can aggregate dimensions to a single member.

The SAC development team are working on adding the missing validation.
