Symptom
- A new method for calculating forecast error CV was introduced in 2305, called SDFE (Standard Deviation of Forecast Error).
- CV is calculated from SDFE as: Forecast Error CV = SDFE / MAX( average (forecast) or average (sales) )*.
- This document will detail how SDFE is actually calculated.
* the denominator in the CV calculation can be switched to always be 'average(forecast)' by setting the global configuration parameter SCAL_FE_CV_DENOMINATOR_ADJ to YES. This is a technical parameter and must be set by SAP Support; contact SAP Support using component SAP-IBP-INV.
