3343889 - Warning "Source objects are not supported because extraction is disabled for them" occurs when creating Replication Flows

Symptom

Warning message occurs in a pop-up window when creating a new replication flow:

"Source objects are not supported because extraction is disabled for them:"
... List of objects...

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Cause

Replication flow's prerequisites are not met.

Resolution

  1. Implement the SAP Note 3425690 - SAP Datasphere - ABAP Integration - CDS view does not show as extraction enabled

  2. Check SAP Note 2890171 - SAP Data Intelligence / SAP Datasphere - ABAP Integration under section:
    "Not supported CDS Views / Tables

    • CDS View not having the "dataExtraction" annotation are not supported for data transfer.
    • Replication of CDS Views (delta transfer) requires the "dataExtraction" and "changeDataCapture" annotations.
    • CDS Views having parameters are not supported.
    • CDS Views making use of a table function are note supported.
    • When you are accessing the data of tables from an SAP S/4HANA source system via SAP LT Replication Server, tables with redirect views (replacement objects) are not supported (for example MBEW, MARD, COEP).
    • Declustering of INDX-like tables (e.g. STXL, PCL1, ...) during the transfer is not supported."
