3343954 - Unable to access the Time Off for creating absence/leave request

Symptom

User is unable to access Time Off to create absence

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Try to create leave request as an employee (ESS).

Cause

Time Type Object Definition is not secured. Employees need at least View Role-based permission access on object Time Type.

Resolution

  1. Go to Configure Object Definition.
  2. Search and select Object Definition in first text box.
  3. Search and select Time Type in second text box.
  4. Edit > scroll to bottom.
  5. Select Secure = Yes and Permission Category = Time Management Object Permissions
  6. Save the object.
  7. Now to go to required permission roles for example Employee Self-Service Role.
  8. Provide the "Time Type" view access under category "Time Management Object Permissions". and save.
