• SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.2 (BI4.2)
• SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.3 (BI4.3)

HANA Back-End Data Access:

• To consume HANA Back-End data with Web Intelligence (Webi), direct access to the back-end data is required.
• In the case of S/4HANA Cloud, such direct access is not available. Users only have access to the S/4 front-end.

BO Implications:

• Without the ability to connect to the back-end data, there is no feasible solution from a BO standpoint.

According to BI product design, currently S/4 HANA Cloud is not officially supported to be connected from BI on-premise system.
