When onboarding 1.0 will enter End of Maintenance?

Resolution
We all are aware in 2019, SAP SuccessFactors launched a new version of Onboarding, built on the Employee Central and Platform frameworks within the SAP SuccessFactors suite. Approximately 1000+ customers are live on the new Onboarding.
The legacy Onboarding (1.0) solution has provided value for onboarding customers for many years, and now it is time to help our customers transform to the new product version.
SAP SuccessFactors has announced the formal transformation from Onboarding 1.0 to Onboarding.
Initially, SAP has determined we will begin the initial steps to sunset the SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 solution starting in the 2H 2025 release. At that time, the application will enter the End of Maintenance lifecycle phase. However, to better support our customer, SAP is extending the End of Maintenance date from the Second Half 2025 Release to the First Half 2026 Release. This means that Onboarding 1.0 will now receive compliance updates and security patches through the 1H 2026 Release.
This change is being made to give customers additional time to complete their transition to Onboarding solution while maintaining compliance and continuity. SAP will provide the necessary 2026 compliance updates as part of our standard patch process. However, the solution will remain in the End of Maintenance phase, which means no new features or bug fixes will be delivered during this time. Onboarding 1.0 will continue to be available for use until the First Half 2026 Release, at which point it will be fully deprecated and no longer accessible.
