3344602 - How to Trigger Job Information workflow after position data is propagated from Manage Positions

After changes position data in Manage Positions or Position Org Chart<manage, the new data will have the possibility to be propagated to incumbent's Job Information. The workflow is configured under jobInfo block, however, after data is forwarded from position, the workflow is not triggered.

1. Change Position Data in Manage Positions
2. Check rule execution log file, the workflow is correctly set. (Please refer to KBA 2257064 - Employee Central - Business Rule Execution Log to get more info about how to create Business Rule Execution Log)
3. Go to incumbent's profile page, the Job Information record is saved without triggering workflow

Position Type is not used or “Execute workflow on Job Information if position changes are synchronized to incumbents?” is not enabled in Position type. 

1. Make sure Position type is used in Position Object. In order to confirm this, please go to Configure Object Definitions<Object Definitions<Position, click "Details" to open type field

2. Go to Manage Data<Position Type
3. Change option “Execute workflow on Job Information if position changes are synchronized to incumbents?” from No to Yes.
