3344921 - Error "DBDriver failed to load" when refreshing reports based on BEx connections

Symptom

Error (CS) "DBDriver failed to load : /usr/sap/A35/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/dataAccess/connectionServer/drivers/lib64/libdbd_oci12.so (libclntsh.so.12.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)" occurring when refreshing a WebI report based on a BEx connection. Other reports work correctly.
