3345092 - Registered Product Owner and Custodian Information Missing in Consignment Scenario

In consignment scenario, the owner and custodian information is missing in registered product master data.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Service Entitlements work center
2. Go to Registered Products view
3. Find product ABC (ABC refers to the product ID)
4. Open it and view all
5. Go to Involved Parties tab 

You see there is no data here. However if you check in Serial Inventory Overview, you see the product has Owner and Custodian information maintained.

Customer consignment is a new feature which released on Business ByDesign 2105 version, it supports the scenario "using serial number for consignment fill-up with different consignee and account".

However, when develop the feature to reflect consignee and account in Registered Product UI, we find it requires modelling change and changing the BO, which is highly risky. Hence it is not supported in current release.

Our development team has included this request in their backlog, but currently no release date planed considering the complexity.

There are two workarounds to check the registered product information: 

1. You can check the owner and custodian of a registered product (consignment) in common task Consignment Serial Stock Overview. 
2. Alternatively, you can add owner and custodian manually under tab Involved Parties in the master data of registered product.
