3345624 - Fund and Function Fields Do Not Populate Automatically In Journal Entry Voucher

Symptom

When copying a Journal Entry Voucher, Fund and Function data do not copy from the referenced Journal Entry Voucher. Data needs to be manually added.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to General Ledger work center.
  2. Open Journal Entry Vouchers view.
  3. Highlight Existing Journal Entry Voucher.
  4. Select New > Journal Entry Voucher with Reference.
  5. New Journal Entry Voucher gets created with all the data except Fund and Function.

Resolution

As per current system design, Fund and Function fields do not populate automatically, they have to be manually added.
