How to set comp ratio calculation to use salary ranges table.

Resolution

Comp ratio displays percent or ratio indicating how an employee's current salary (before the salary increase) compares with a market anchor or pay range midpoint.

The salary ranges can come from EC or from Salary range tables, to use the table option the checkbox "

To configure that go to:

Compensation home> select the template> Plan setup tab> Settings> Calculation settings.

The tables can be seen, created or edited by going to action for all plans > salary plans:

To edit the table follow:

  1. Click on the table name;
  2. Export the table;
  3. Edit the values in the downloaded file;
  4. Import back the table;

Please know that Comp ratio is a relation between two values, current salary and Mid point salary range, so both should have the same frequency. For example, if you are using a annual current salary you should have annual values for salary range.
