Symptom

  • Failed to connect to RS server via isql 
    Msg 14021, Level 12, State 0:
    Server '***':
    Invalid login attempted by user 'DR_admin'
    CT-LIBRARY error:
    ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.

  • RS errorlog shows
F. 2023/06/19 09:10:20. FATAL ERROR #1030 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - eneric/err/errhand.c(1273)
        Open Server error: Error: 16029, State: 0, Severity 20 -- 'Failed to start any network listeners'.
T. 2023/06/19 09:10:20. (-1): Exiting due to a fatal error.
  •  Failed to connect to ASE with DR_admin user

Msg 4002, Level 14, State 1:
Server 'PXI':
Login failed.
CT-LIBRARY error:
ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.
