3346118 - How to Create Route Group via Data Import and Export?

Please follow below steps. 

1. Go to Administrator Work Centre 
2. Go to Data Import and Export View
3. Click Download Template 
4. Select "Route Group" with "Complete Entity"
5. Select "excel" or "csv"
6. Extract the download zip file 
7. Modify the files and compress them to the zip file 
8. Go to Data Import and Export View
9. Click on "Import" button 
10. Select entity "Route Group" and switch on "Complete entity" 
11. Select "Create" 
12. Select file type "excel" or "csv" which should be same as step 5
13. Drop the zip file 
14. Click "Import Data"
15. If the upload job finishes with green status "Completed", it means it's successful
16. If the upload job finishes with red status "Failed", please click the number link for the field Error to download the error file.

Tips:

1. Maintaining "external_key" is mandatory for import of the complete entity. It supports any number and any character. Also, it's used for link data in route group and account visit plans. 
2. It's recommended to change the cell format into text.
3. For field "Owner_ID" supports the UUID. Therefore, field "Owner Display ID" could be used by providing its business partner ID. This business partner ID could be found via adaptation on employee screen. The screenshot shows below. Other fields like "Organizer_Employee Display ID", "Sales Organization_Display ID" and "Account_Display ID" behave the same. 
4. For field "Valid From Local Date" and "Valid To Local Date", they support data format like "2023-04-18" by changing cell format to text in the excel.
5. For field "Start Time" and "End time" in route group, they support 24 hour time format like "08:00" by changing cell format to text in the excel. 
6. For field "Start Date", it supports data format like "2023-04-18" by changing cell format to text in the excel.
