3346402 - ADSO (or DataSouce based on ADSO) error: DB-Views of DSO/adso 'XYZ' are not up to date

Symptom 1. While running a DTP or InfoPackage from a datasource based an ADSO the following issue occurs in the ODQMON on the source system:

>>> Exception  occurred in line 46 of include CL_RSDSO_X_ADSO_TPL===========CM00L (program CL_RSDSO_X_ADSO_TPL===========CP) SODQ 140
>>> DB-Views of aDSO 'XYZ' are not up to date. Please run 'RSDG_ADSO_ACTIVATE' (Message No. RSO_RES_ADSO 195)

Symptom 2. While running program RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL, the following error occurs:

>>> Error in BW: CL_RSDSO_X_ADSO_TPL~_DETERMINE_TABNAMES
>>> DB-Views of DSO 'XYZ' are not up to date. Please run 'RSDG_ADSO_ACTIVATE'

Symptom 3. The following error occurs when creating a DataSource from an ADSO (as ODP):

>>> Execution of request "POST /sap/bw/modeling/rsds/<ADSO name>/<BW myself system>?copyFromObjectName=initial&copyFromObjectType=_proposal&lockHandle=XXXXXXX" failed: 403 Forbidden
