3346788 - How to Migrate "Alternate Employee ID" for Switzerland Employees Through Migration Tool

You have a requirement to migration 'Alternate Employee ID" field for the Swizterland employees but the field Alternate Employee ID is missing the migration template

SAP Business bydesign

1- Go to the Business Configuration work center and Overview.

2- Search for Migration of Employee Data - Switzerland and open it.

3- Click Migrate basic employee data using the migration tool.

4- In the Migration Tool, click You Can Also > Download Migration Template.

5- Open the template and the fields Alternative Employee ID, ID Card Type and ID Card Number are not available

The fields ID Card Type and ID Card Number are not part of Employee migration template for Switzerland currently.

Following steps will help to migrate employee along with 'Alternative Employee ID', without having to enhance "Migration of Employee Data - Switzerland"

(1) Migration of Employee Data - Non Localized Countries/Regions -> Migrate basic employee data using the migration tool.. Here, "Personnel Identification -> ID Card Type , ID Card Number" can be used to fill 'Alternative Employee ID

(2) Migration of Employee Data - Non Localized Countries/Regions -> Migrate personnel administration data using the migration tool
