3346878 - "Refresh Compensation Required" does not work for field company/legal entity.

Symptom

  • When Legal entity is changed in Job Information via Take action, the Compensation Information does not appear. This happens only for the field company/legal entity.
  • The Compensation Information check box is not automatically selected.

Environment

SuccessFactors Employee Central - Compensation Information

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo.
  2. Navigate to field - company/legal entity. 
  3. Click on Details > Verify, "Refresh Compensation Required" is set to "Yes".
  4. Now, Go to any employee.
  5. Take action > Select Job information.
  6. Change company/legal entity value.
  7. Result: Compensation Information is not refreshed/automatically selected.

Resolution

  • This is an expected behavior.
  • As per system design, the "Refresh Compensation Required" is not supported for field Company/Legal Entity.
