3346923 - You are Not Able to Release Customer Invoice due to Avalara Error

You are not able to release a customer invoice because of error: "Error during calculation of price and tax, Avalara Error".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center.
2. Go to the Invoice Documents view.
3. Search invoice ABC , it is Not Released status. (ABC represents the ID of the invoice).
4. Open the invoice, the Release button is disabled and you can see error message: Error during calculation of price and tax Avalara Error.

The state and/or zip code information is missing in the ship-to address in Outbound Delivery document.

You will need to cancel the invoice, and then un-release the outbound delivery.

In the outbound delivery document, maintain the state and zip code information in the ship-to address and release it again.

System will update the outbound delivery invoice request with the state and zip information, and you are able to release the invoice request and further invoice without error.
