3347209 - Is it possible to re-order the story filters of a story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & SAP Digital Boardroom?

Symptom

You would like to change the order of story filters to any custom order other than the creation order.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud  2023.8.12

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to SAC.
  2. Open story.
  3. Create several story filters.
  4. Notice that the order of filters are determined by the creation date of them.
  5. Notice that you cannot find the setting to re-order the filters.

Cause

This is a by-design behavior of current product design.

Resolution

  • With the next update in QRC3, there will be an option for story designers to select a predefined order or to define the order manually via the filter panel settings. Please refer to the following blog and check the roadmap item here.
  • Please note that this is applies for the tokens in filter bar/panel and not valid for the variable dialog.
