When you have hired a future-dated employee, if you view their 'Job Information' on their profile, you will see that it shows fields configured in 'jobInfo' that are not configured/enabled in their respective 'Person Type' (e.g. jobInfo_employee) as configured in 'Manage Business Configuration'.
