3347497 - Dump When Trying to Post Journal Entry Voucher

Whenever you try to post or simulate a Journal Entry Voucher an error is displayed:

'Please try resuming your work. If you still face issues, report an incident.'

SAB Business ByDesign 

1. Go to General Ledger Work Center.
2. Go to Journal Entry Vouchers View.
3. Search for the Journal Entry Voucher ID.
4. Click Edit.
5. Click Post or Simulate.
6. You will see the error message: 'Please try resuming your work. If you still face issues, report an incident.'

This issue could occur when the G/L account or account assignment on one of the lines has been changed, but for some reason, the system fails to trigger the necessary updates, resulting in an unexpected subledger account line item type.

To resolve this issue, remove the lines and add them again from scratch.

The recommended approach is to create a new line with the desired G/L Account if a change is required, rather than modifying the existing line. This ensures a smoother process and minimizes the chances of encountering issues.
