3347527 - Custom field cannot be found in Purchase Order Form Template for Limit items

When the Purchase Order includes Limit Items, the custom fields are not available in the corresponding PurchaseOrderLimitItemNode of the form template. As a result, the custom field cannot be added or displayed in the Purchase Order form output for limit items.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

This is the standard system behavior.
Currently, no extensibility is supported for Purchase Order Limit Items in output forms or data sources.

• The PurchaseOrderLimitItemNode structure is not extensible through Custom Fields and Logic.

• Only standard Purchase Order Item Nodes support the addition and mapping of custom fields to the form templates.

• There is no standard form template or extensible data model available for Limit Items, hence custom fields cannot be displayed in this section of the Purchase Order form.

If the requirement to include custom fields for Limit Items is critical, submit a Customer Influence Request for SAP to consider enabling this functionality in a future release.
