3347559 - CKCC180 error happens in app Edit Costing Run

Symptom

You get error CKCC180 with app Edit Costing Run:

"Enter a subtype of the valuation view".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

Create Costing Run.
Change parameter for Mark step.

Cause

The root cause is known. It only happens in very rare condition. If you create a costing run and first maintain the parameter for Release step twice and then go into the Marking parameter, the error will happen.

Resolution

If you get this error, you need to report a case to SAP Support (component CO-PC-PCP-2CL) requesting for correct. Please provide approval for the correction.

To avoid the similar error, after creation of costing run, make sure you first maintain the parameter for Marking step.

The error will be fixed in CE2402.
