3348233 - Byte Code Adapter is not starting - SAP Focused Run

Symptom

Byte Code Adapter is installed via Preparation Tool for SAP Focused Run.

The Preparation Tool does not return any error and the Simple Diagnostics Agent logs confirm the installation is successful:

  • com.sap.solman.agent.preptool.tasks.InstallByteCodeAdapterTask installing Introscope Agent finished 

However, the Byte Code Adapter is not able to start once the server is restarted. No logs are found in Byte Code Adapter directories.
