3348382 - Error "The total number of serial numbers must be same as the quantity for product" While Confirming Put Away Task

You are trying to confirm the put away, however system throws below errors:-

The action Finish is not possible. Refresh the screen and try again/ if the problem persists, report an incident.
Error during delivery update
The total number of serial numbers must be same as the quantity for product.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Inbound Logistics Work center.
2. Go to Task Control View.
3. Go to All Tasks by Selection and choose relevant Task ID.
4. Select and choose Confirm.
5. Choose line item with relevant product and enter required quantity.
6. Perform Save.
7. System throws above error messages.

Since the user has changed the serial number profile IDs from one for example 1005 (Mandatory on all Logistics & Production Processes) to another i.e. 1003 (No serial number profile mandatory) or any other.

Here, the order is  being created on a earlier date with the material ID and changes are done after creating documents does not get updated directly in the task.

User must create a new order from beginning to reflect the serial profile changes being done in the material master data in the required logistics task ID.
