3349111 - Adding tags to an application updates the Candidate history and not the Application history

Symptom

When adding tags via the application as a recruiter the update does not appear in the application history but in the candidate history.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to an Application
  2. Select Add or Select a Tag
  3. After adding the tag and saving the application view the history and note it's not updated
  4. Go to the candidate profile and note that the change is saved there with source set to Applicant Profile

Cause

Tags are hosted in the candidate tables to allow for use in Candidate Search.

Resolution

This is currently expected behaviour and is working as designed.
