3349123 - Extension of 2022 ROE Season - Application of Maximum Earnings Amended

Symptom

  • The Return of Earnings (ROE) season has been extended through June 30, 2023, according to Notice 48673.
  • The Maximum Earnings is applied annually at the end of the assessment periods (28 February 2023) to the individual employee’s annual total earnings, not per month.
  • Full annual earnings of R529 264.00 will apply irrespective of the number of months the employee was employed in the 2022 ROE Season.
  • If a customer decides to resubmit the ROE 2022 using the revised maximum earnings calculation, they may do so.
