When testing configuration that contains a conflict, no message is being shown in CPQ.
Environment
SAP Sales Cloud CPQ Integrated with Variant Configuration
Cause
As informed in "Variant Configuration Integration: Technical Overview" Help Article:
The conflict explanation is maintained in SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing. If no explanation is provided, the conflict name is displayed instead.
If there is no name or explanation provided, CPQ will not show conflict tab on Configurator.
Resolution
To CPQ show conflict in Conflict Tree during configuration of the product, it is mandatory to conflict have Name or Explanation being maintained in S4 and replicated to CPS.
Conflict Configuration should be reviewed in order to be properly shown in CPQ.
