3349417 - Warning Message "Documents with sale type XYZ for customers w/o VAT ID not considered" Is Shown on EC Sales List ABC

When running a EC Sales List Run, the follow-up EC Sales List ID ABC shows a warning message: "Documents with sale type XYZ for customers w/o VAT ID not considered" and you would like to check the documents that were not considered for EC Sales List ABC. (ABC stands for EC Sales List ID and XYZ stands for the document Sale Type).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Tax Management work center.
2. Open EC Sales Lists view.
3. You will notice Tax Return ID ABC with status In Preparation. Open it and click on View All.
4. On General tab, in Run Information section, click on Application Log ID DEF. (DEF stands for the Application Log ID)
5. On Results tab, message appears:

"Documents with sale type XYZ for customers w/o VAT ID not considered"

You can check the documents not considered for the EC Sales List ID ABC on the Report: Open VAT / Sales Tax Items.

First, follow these steps:

1. Go to EC Sales List ID ABC.

2. On Tax Return tab, select a row with a Document of Sale Type XYZ and click on Details.

3. On the next screen you can see Documents with Tax Event GHI that weren't picked by the EC Sales List Run. (GHI stands for the Tax Event code).

4. Take note of the Tax Event code.

Then, go into the Report, as follows:

5. Go to Tax Management work center.

6. Open Reports view.

7. Open Report: Open VAT / Sales Tax Items with the parameters matching Company and Period from EC Sales List ABC.

8. On Tax Event column, filter for Tax Event GHI.

It will show all Source Documents for this period with Tax Event GHI. You can cross check it with the documents on EC Sales List ABC and distinguish the ones that were not considered.
