3349692 - How to Update SAP SuccessFactors Company ID Integrated with SAP Build Work Zone

Symptom

  • Can the SAP Build Work Zone integration be updated from one SAP SuccessFactors Company ID to another?  
  • You need to update the SAP SuccessFactors Company ID that your SAP Build Work Zone is connected to. 

Environment

  • SAP Build Work Zone Advanced Edition
  • SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone

Cause

It is possible to update the SAP Build Work Zone integration from one SAP SuccessFactors Company ID to another.  

Resolution

There are three main steps to completing this change:

  1. Raise a ticket with LOD-SF-EAS-WZC to update the SAP SuccessFactors Company ID in the JAM tenant site admin. Note that customers do not have access to this page. Support kindly refer to internal memo.
  2. Update the SuccessFactors_API Destination in your SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with the new Company ID and OAuth parameters. If you have SuccessFactors UI cards configured, refer to KBA 3062218 - SAP Work Zone for HR - SuccessFactors UI Cards not loading
  3. Update the user provisioning configuration in your Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) tenant to point to the new SAP SuccessFactors Company ID instead of the old one. Further details can be found in the SAP Help Portal - Onboarding to SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition or Onboarding to SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone depending on your set up.
