Is there a maximum size for images in the section descriptions of performance forms?

There is no limit on an image size in the performance form sections. 

However, there can still be display issues or text can appear out of alignment if the image is too big. How the images display and the impacts of the text will be dependent on various configurations within the performance form. It's highly recommended to test the image sizes on sample launched forms before starting the performance process.

Please also keep in mind that images can behave or look different when printed as a PDF. It may be a good idea to test the PDF print options to ensure the image displays as intended.
