3349845 - Widget could not get updated accordingly while changing the selected member in the Dimension Input Control in a story with Optimized Design Experience mode enabled (namely Story 2.0) in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Create a story with Optimized Design Experience mode enabled (namely Story 2.0) and enable the "Reporting Layout" for this story
• Observe that the widget could not get updated accordingly while changing the selected member in the Dimension Input Control or Account Input control in this story

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.8.14 

1. Log on to SAC.
2. Create a story with the Optimized Design Experience mode enabled (namely Story 2.0).
3. Add a page in this story.
4. Click on the story page name and open the Page Styling panel.
5. Under the "Page Layout" on this Page Styling panel, turn on the button "Enable Reporting Layout" to enable the Reporting Layout for this story page.
6. Add a Dimension Input Control or Account Input control to this story and add this Dimension Input Control or Account Input control to both the chart and the table.
7. Change the selected member in this dimension input control or account input control.
   => Observe that both the table and the chart could not get updated accordingly while changing the selected member in the dimension input control in this ODE story.
   => In chart, the Dimension Input Control would be removed from this chart automatically while changing the selected member in the Dimension Input Control. This could be checked by going to the Builder panel of this chart, and observe that the Dimension Input Control would disappear from the Dimension part while changing the selected member in the Dimension Input Control.
   => In table, the Dimension Input Control would not be removed from this table automatically while changing the selected member in the Dimension Input Control.  
   => The table will only update to the newly selected member of the “New Dimension Input Control” when the page is refreshed. 
   => The chart will only update to the newly selected member of the “New Dimension Input Control” by saving the story and reopening it. 
   

• The issue is caused by a defect in the product.

This issue will be addressed in version 2023.8.17
