3349852 - How to use sticky notes, favorites, flags and tags in custom screens

Symptom

You have created a custom BO and custom screens in your custom solution from SAP Cloud Applications Studio and you would like to enable sticky notes, favorites, flags and tags options.

Environment

  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio

Resolution

  1. Create a query (.qry) for your custom BO with the Enterprise Search option enabled.
  2. Open the custom screen in UI Designer.
  3. Click on Properties tab.
  4. Set the Data Binding for the Notes to /Root.
  5. Set the following proprieties to False: Favorites Disabled, Flags Disabled, Stickynotes Disabled, Tags Disabled.
