3349908 - The Data Access Control (DAC) setting is not transported in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC) after the transport:

• You have used a dimension in a model to leverage read and write rights for sac teams on that dimension (DAC [Data Access Control]).
• You want to transport all objects to anther SAC tenant.
• You have selected every objects and ticked the box "data".

Especially, for using DAC, teams are created in quality and transported in production. So, the teams have the same ID in both systems.

But after the transport, when you go into the model and click on the dimension, the read and write property is empty.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023

This works as designed. DAC information is not transported between systems, since it is assumed that the users and teams are different between production and non-production system. So the DAC settings need to be adjusted manually after the transport.

Note: If you have leveraged read and write rights for teams or users by employing DAC (Data Access Control), please note that DAC information is not transported between systems. 

Currently, you need to adjust the DAC settings manually after the transport.

Meanwhile, it is to be decided by the product management if and when this enhancement request will be implemented.
