3350080 - The app 'Manage Material Serial Numbers' returns no results

Symptom

  • The app 'Manage Material Serial Numbers' returns no entries but Serial Numbers exist
  • 'No data found. Try adjusting the search or filter parameters' is returned when using the app 'Manage Material Serial Numbers'
  • Serial Numbers can be viewed in the app "Display Material Serial Number" ( IQ03 ) but not  'Manage Material Serial Numbers'

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA, Cloud edition
  • Logistics - Serial Numbers

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the app 'Manage Material Serial Numbers'
  2. Press Go
  3. Results show 'No data found. Try adjusting the search or filter parameters'

Cause

Filter 'Equipment Data Exists' set to "No"

Resolution

By default the list shows all Material Serial Numbers for which Equipment view is not activated.

This is configured using the filter "Equipment Data Exists", by default when the app loads.

Please try to set the filter value to "Yes".
