3350216 - Backoffice Performance Issues after upgrade to 2205

There was a change in the backoffice in 2205 on the user interface for reference lists. There is an inefficient check for duplicates when items are added to the list which is also being executed on the render of the full list. 

For small lists, the performance impact is not noticeable but for volumes of data being used by the customer, the rendering time is severely bad (measured in minutes). With many backoffice users, eventually every rendering thread gets tied up rendering lists and the application becomes unresponsive to new requests.
