3350633 - How to remove the warning in purchase order :The purchase amount is higher than 50%

You get a warning message when a new purchase order is created for the same materials previously used in another purchase order.

Warning: the purchase amount is higher than 50%. 

You would like to know how the percentage amount can be changed?

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase requests and Orders
2. Select New Purchase Order under Common Tasks
3. Under Items tab, enter a product that was used before in previous purchase order
4. Select Check
5. Warning message pops up: the purchase amount is higher than 50%

This is the default system behavior which throws the warning but it will not stop ordering of purchase document.

It is not possible to change this default warning setting in Bydesign system.

You can check with your partner if they can raise a custom warning via add-on as per your requirement.
