3350633 - How to Remove the Warning The Purchase Amount is Higher Than 50% in Purchase Order

You get a warning message 'the purchase amount is higher than 50%' when a new purchase order is created for the same materials previously used in another purchase order.

You would like to know how the percentage amount can be changed?

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase requests and Orders Work Center.
2. Select New Purchase Order under Common Tasks.
3. Under Items tab, enter a product that was used before in previous purchase order.
4. Select Check, then the Warning message would pop up.

This is the default system behavior which throws the warning but it will not stop ordering of purchase document.

It is not possible to change this default warning setting in Bydesign system.

You can check with your partner if they can raise a custom warning via add-on as per your requirement.
