3350766 - SAVE button is disabled for Global Script and Script tab is Red in color

Symptom

SAVE button is disabled for Global Script and Script tab is Red in color.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to CPQ
  2. Click on Setup
  3. GoTo Develop > Global Scripts
  4. Edit Global Script with issue

Cause

There are white space characters before the system id name and we do not allow this in CPQ. When you click on the system id edit button, the field gets red and it is more understandable.

Resolution

Remove the leading space in System Id to resolve the issue.
