Unable to assign business partners, rental objects, condition flows, and organizational assignments to existing contracts due to error:

A business place has not been assigned to this contract.

During posting, the system checks whether a business place has been assigned to the contract.  If a business place has not been assigned, then an error message is created.

 You must specify the business place in the master data for the contract. To do so, navigate to the Posting Parameters tab and enter a business place in the Organizational Assignment section.
