3350998 - Error No business place assigned to contract

Unable to assign business partners, rental objects, condition flows, and organizational assignments to existing contracts due to error:

A business place has not been assigned to this contract.

During posting, the system checks whether a business place has been assigned to the contract.  If a business place has not been assigned, then an error message is created.

The business place must be specified in the master data for the contract. To do so depending on the used App there are different paths.

1. In app Contract Management navigate to the Posting Parameters tab and enter a business place in the Organizational Assignment section.
2. In app Manage Contract navigate to Conditions tab -> Terms -> Organizational Assignment field and select option Display or Change Term (on the right side of the field). Select Enhancements and maintain the business place.

The business place field is by default set as mandatory. A business place must be assigned, if the business place is required for subsequent processing. However, depending on the requirements, you can change the business place field to optional in the configuration settings. For more information, see Configure Business Place (RE-FX)
