3351278 - Cannot create inbound delivery due to error message: Warehouse number & is incorrect /SCWM/ODATA_COMMON/008

Customer is facing warehouse inbound process issue due to warehouse number assignment.

• First symptom: cannot create inbound delivery error message below occurs:

"Warehouse number & is incorrect."
Message no. /SCWM/ODATA_COMMON/008

• Second symptom:When trying to maintaining the Warehouse into the Set Warehouse Address Configuration the error message below occurs:

"The system can't determine the party entitled to dispose."
Message no. /SCWM/MD068

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Under SSCUI > Organization > Define Shipping Data for Plants", some plants does not have any "Customer No Plant" maintained. This "Customer No Plant" is the Business Partner representing the plant that was created in step 4.3.2 at the WH Setup Guide.

 It's missing the address maintained for your Whse in the configuration activity Set Warehouse Address. However, if you tried to create it, it will give an error message: The system can't determine the party entitled to dispose. Message no. /SCWM/MD068.

This happens because you must either create the business partner representing the plant (step 4.3.2) or assign this business partner already created in this view (step 4.4.4).

If maintaining the address according to these steps does not resolve the main issue, please refer to the "See Also" tab in this KBA and consult the WH Setup Guide to verify if any additional steps are missing in the warehouse number assignment.
