3351464 - Error :Line items with a released ECO assigned to variant 1 do not exist

While checking Bill of Material consistency, system is throwing below errors: 

 

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data Work center.
2. Go to Production Bill Of Material view.
3. Find the relevant Bill Of Material and edit it.
4. Choose Check Consistency under General and Variants view
5. System throws below errors:-
   
   

   Variant 1 of BoM not consistent

   Line items with a released ECO assigned to variant 1 do not exist

Since the relevant BoM is being created with variant 1 having output product however variant checkbox is not marked for input products once the ECO is completed.

Therefore, while checking consistency system throws error.

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data Work center.
2. Go to Production Bill Of Material view.
3. Find the relevant Bill Of Material and edit it.
4. Go to Input Products Tab, select the ECO.
5. Then select the checkbox for variant 1 for all line items with products.
6. Once it is done, perform Check Consistency.
7. It will be consistent and perform save.
