Symptom
The attribute triggers are not working properly on containers when the value of the attribute is changed.
Environment
SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Setup > Product Catalog > Products;
- Select the product which has a container attribute;
- Go to Attributes > Attribute Triggers;
- On scripted trigger for change, select and reset, write Log.Info('Change'), Log.Info('Select') and Log.Info('Reset') and save;
- Exit the Setup and go to Catalog;
- Open the product to its configuration;
- Change the values on the rows on container;
- Go to Logs and see that expected "Change", "Select" or "Reset" logs didn't appear.
Resolution
The trigger for container attribute change is currently only activated when a row is added, deleted, or selected, but not when there is a change in the value within the row itself.
