Split assignments are WorkForce Time and Attendance's way of managing assignments bouncing between policy profile groups. A policy profile group is defined by a week definition. Its activation is dependent on a profile switching between two different week definitions.
A split assignment is created when the old assignment is terminated and new one is created. This is done by the import automatically when an employee switches to a different policy profile group. Splits must be done in the current period.
