3351964 - Cannot logon to Datasphere tenant

Symptom

Although the correct credentials are entered, an user or an SAP Support expert cannot logon to the Datasphere tenant due to the followings errors:

  • It seems your profile is not configured for this system.


  • It seems that you don't have an active account.

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Resolution

  1. assign the user a SAP Datasphere standard role. Ideally assign DW Admin role for support user that an support engineer can reproduce and analyze the issue without further delay
  2. make sure that the user is activated. If not, activate the user (open the user list -> select the user -> use activate button (next to add new user button))  and click on save button. 

Since Scoped Roles was introduced, make sure to assign a proper Scoped Role to the generated Support User.
The Scoped role should be relevant for the Space and the Activity authorization (Admin/Modeler/Viewer) for the analysis. For more information please see SAP KBA 2891554 - How to create a Support User in SAP Datasphere
