Symptom

Shopping Cart Filter not returning Child Items of Parent-Child configuration.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open a Quote;
  2. Add a product that contains child items;
  3. On Filter, add Parent Item Part Number;
  4. See that only Parent product is showing.

Cause

When you type something in the part number section of the filter it will only filter items with that part number.
It won't show up child items of the products that are filtered, meaning it's not filtering on the product level, but on the item level.
